Use of CIFFA Standard Trading Conditions*
- Recently revised and re-written in plain English, CIFFA's Standard Trading Conditions clearly outline the roles and responsibilities of the customer and the forwarder.
- Only members are allowed to display the CIFFA logo and to operate business under the CIFFA STCs, bringing the integrity and authority of the CIFFA brand to customer relationship

- The Association works as a champion of business and industry sector rights. It represents a common front for international freight forwarders, taking on Government, NGO's, Conventions, Carriers, IATA and FIATA issues, both nationally and internationally
- CIFFA provides an effective and representational voice at all levels of government - whether it is to provide insight into the definition of the 'exporter' to Canada Border Services Agency when drafting the new Canadian Export Regulations or to work with carriers and governments in drafting the procedures for Advance Commercial Information. CIFFA is the 'Voice of Freight Forwarding' in Canada
- CIFFA works diligently on industry related issues, such as the Workers' Safety Insurance Bureau classification, to bring long term and lasting value to members

Use of CIFFA Resume Board
This is a value-added and free service to CIFFA Members who may be looking to hire. Students of colleges or employees of Non-CIFFA Members who have achieved a CIFFA Certificate and/or Advanced Certificate are able to place their resumes on our web site.
