CIFFA’s ‘CareerConnect’ job portal now live

TORONTO, September 18, 2017-The Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) is pleased to announce the official launch of its CareerConnect job portal.

Partnering with other associations in the sector, CIFFA has designed CareerConnect to allow job postings by any company in the sector. All of these organizations will post all of their jobs – in sales, accounting, operations, IT, customer service – for free.

Our connection to college networks ensures that job posters are hiring the best and the brightest, including CIFFA-trained grads boasting skills and expertise at any level required in an organization.

Some 430 grads earned their CIFFA certificate through through virtual class and ELOD for a combined 880 graduates in 2016. Thousands of individuals have achieved a CIFFA certificate over the past years and we continue to form new partnerships with colleges across the country.

By posting a resume on CareerConnect, college grads will immediately be distinguished from other job seekers who are looking for work on generic sites. CareerConnect is specifically designed for the global logistics sector and our 400 member companies know that anyone posting a resume on CareerConnect is serious about working in the global logistics sector. Jobs will be searchable by type, location, and employer, and job seekers will find it easy to manage their application history and receive job alerts.
