Cancellation and Refund Policy

Certificate Programs

All requests for refunds must be made to the CIFFA office in writing, and will only be issued under the following conditions:

  • Cancellations received before the start of the program… full refund (minus a CAD $100.00 administration fee).
  • Cancellations received before the start of the second class of a program (for e-Learning – beginning of the second week of a program)… 50% refund.
  • Cancellations received after the start of the second class of a program… NO REFUND.

All program materials received must be returned to the CIFFA office, at the student’s expense, prior to the issuance of any refund.

Dangerous Goods Programs, International Trade Workshops, Seminars, etc.

Refunds for these programs will only be issued under the following conditions:

  • More than 2 weeks prior to program start:
    • Full refund (minus a $100.00 administration fee).
  • 1 to 2 weeks prior to program start:
    • 50% refund.
  • Less than 1 weeks prior to program start:
    • No refund.

In all cases, cancellations must be made in writing.

e-Learning Programs 

(except Certificate Programs)

  • Prior to starting (logging-in) to an e-Learning Program:
    • Full refund (minus a $100.00 administration fee).
  • After starting (logging-in) to an e-Learning Program:
    • No refund.

In all cases, cancellations must be made in writing to CIFFA.

Events Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellaton less than one week before event – no refund
  • Cancellation on week before event – full refund
