This two day Recurrent Program provides IATA/ICAO category 6 certification and is acceptable for Freight Forwarders, Shippers and operators. This course also updates the participant with the recent changes to the regulations of dealing with Dangerous Goods shipments, internationally, by air. This training is required every two years, to maintain compliance and should occur within the calendar year of the Training Certificate's expiration date. CIFFA highly recommends that recurrent students who do not consistently ship dangerous goods, be enrolled in the initial class. If you wish to be enrolled in the full three days please email us at education@ciffa.com to make sure you are charged recurrent pricing.
CIFFA is an IATA and FIATA/ICAO Dangerous Goods Authorized Training School, and as such meets its stringent requirements and high standards. Our program also meets the requirements of the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations.
This Recurrent Program will focus on package marking and labelling, and documenting Dangerous Goods shipments. Lecture, discussion, handouts, exercises, group activities, and case studies will provide the participant with an enhanced learning environment.
The current edition of the IATA DGR is used as the main reference source for this program, and is provided for the participant's use while attending this program. Participants are provided a personal copy of handouts and exercises, which may be used later as on the job reference material.

Proof of Initial training completed within the last 24 months must be provided.
