This online program with a virtual one-day live-session is for shippers and freight forwarders  with no experience in dealing with dangerous goods by air, or who have let their previous air DG certificate expire for more than 12 months.  CIFFA highly recommends that recurrent students who do not consistently ship dangerous goods, be enrolled in this initial class as well.

CIFFA is an IATA and FIATA-ICAO Dangerous Goods Authorized Training School (ATS), and as such meets its stringent requirements and high standards.

This program provides both general background information, as well as detailed information on identification, packing, marking, labelling and documenting Dangerous Goods. Learning modules, practice tests, case studies and a live session with a certified instructor enhance the learning environment.

The current edition of the IATA DGR is used as the main reference source for this program, and is provided for the participant’s use while attending this program. A certificate in categories 6, as per table 1.5.A of the IATA Dangerous goods regulations is provided after successfully completing this course. The course is taught from the perspective of the freight forwarder.

CIFFA Online TDG Training provides certification for the transport of dangerous goods by land. Online learning provides the flexibility to study at your own pace and access learning materials at your convenience.

The material covered in this course covers all required objectives as set out by transport Canada.  Click here for transport Canada requirements. On successful completion a certificate is provided that will require the learner and their employer to sign.  

This certifies that the employer confirms completion of required training on TDG commensurate to their position.  

Training certificates are not transferable as it is the responsibility of the employer to issue certificates.  

This course introduces the student to air, ocean, truck and rail transportation and to the world geography over which goods move. Incoterms ®2020 outlines the transfer of cost and risk between the seller and buyer.

Certificates of completion are provided to students completing International Freight Forwarding Courses.

An Authorized Cargo Representative (ACR) is known as: A person who has assigned air cargo security duties at the company, persons with the need, right and qualifications to access air cargo such as accepting and tendering cargo, delivering or validating shipments. 
Training is done via an e-Learning program, available 24/7. Plan on 3-4 hours for completion of the ACR e-Learning Program. Learn how to handle cargo destined for air transport in a “secure” environment, how to recognize and respond to air cargo that has been tampered with, and how to restore a secure environment for air cargo. 
CIFFA Air Cargo Security training for Authorized Cargo Representatives (ACRs) is fully revised and narrated to include the changes implemented on October 17th, 2016. This updated course is suitable for new ACRs or as a refresher training. It is also suitable for Known Consignors, Regulated Agents, Certified Agents or Authorized Cargo Administrators that will maintain ACRs.
Understanding how buyers and sellers manage risk with a variety of international payment methods, cargo insurance, properly completed commercial documents and appropriate export packaging leads students to learning how forwarders offer alternative transport solutions and costing and quoting to their clients.  Certificates of completion are provided to students successfully completing the International Freight Forwarding Courses.
